(KWWL) — There were 463 new, confirmed cases from 10 a.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday, according to the state's dashboard, which brings the state's total number of cases to 44,937.
The state's website says that of the 44,937 people who have tested positive, 32,802 have recovered. This is 307 more recoveries than what the state reported Friday.
Seven additional deaths were reported within this time frame, leaving the state's death toll at 872.
There were 36 patients hospitalized in Iowa within the last 24 hours and the total number of hospitalizations is 242. Of those hospitalizations, 77 are in the ICU and 35 are on ventilators.
In Iowa, 4,928 new tests were given for a total of more than 480,425 that have been tested for COVID-19.
BLACK HAWK COUNTY
As of 10 a.m. Saturday, the Black Hawk COVID-19 dashboard is showing data from 10 a.m. Friday. There is a total of 3,580 reported cases in the county. There were 50 more recoveries for a total of 2,231. No additional deaths were reported in the county, leaving a total of 62 deaths.
According to the Linn County COVID-19 dashboard at 10 a.m. Saturday, there were 25 more cases reported in the county since 10 a.m. Friday. This leaves the total at 1,993 reported cases. There were also 44 additional recoveries, leaving it at a total of 1,657. There have been no additional COVID-19 related deaths in the county, leaving it at a total of 87 deaths. There are 8 current hospitalizations in the county.
According to the state's dashboard at 10 a.m. Saturday, there are 19 new positive cases reported in Johnson County since 10 a.m. Friday. This brings the total to 1,887 reported cases. There are 21 more recoveries reported for a total of 1,363. A total of 23,294 have been tested. There have been no additional COVID-19 related deaths in the county, leaving a total of 15.
According to the state's dashboard at 10 a.m. Saturday, there are 29 new positive cases reported in Dubuque County since 10 a.m. Friday. This brings the total to 1,489 reported cases. There were 10 additional recoveries, leaving a total of 719. A total of 19,447 people have been tested. There were no additional COVID-19 related deaths in the county, for a total of 28.
