(KWWL) -- There's some good news for the Dike-New Hartford Community School District as a member of the baseball coaching staff tested negative for COVID-19.
"We will continue to take precautions to protect the health and well-being of our student-athletes, coaches and families. To date, there have been no reports of any illnesses or COVID-19 symptoms on the part of any other coach or team member," a spokesperson for the district said in a release.
They encourage parents, students, and staff to continue to social distance as well as other preventative actions in order to not interrupt the season.
Games will resume Monday, July 6th.
