Dubuque (KWWL) -- An employee at the Stonehill Franciscan Services senior care center tested positive for COVID-19.
This is the first person at the center to have a positive test.
The Vice President of Operations/Administrator Peggy Stockel said the employee is in quarantine at home and has been off work since the symptoms began.
She said the employee was not reporting symptoms on their last day at work.
All Stonehill Franciscan Services employees and residents will be tested for the virus.
Stockel said until they have all the test results returned, no visitors are allowed (with the exception of end of life).
The center is currently following guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and state and local health officials.
