DUBUQUE, Iowa. (KWWL) - COVID-19 testing was completed at the Dubuque County Jail on June 27, on all inmates who had previously tested negative.
Of the 54 tests, one was positive.
Of the previous positive tests, most inmates are in the process of being medically cleared for return to general population.
One staff member did test positive and was placed in isolation.
That staff member was medically cleared to return to work.
Another round of testing is scheduled for July 6, for all remaining inmates who previously tested negative.
