Today: Clouds are on the increase today as we head to the afternoon. A few showers and thunderstorms are possible throughout the day. The greatest chance of showers and storms will be in our southern viewing area counties near Cedar Rapids and Iowa City. Those living in the northern viewing area, as in Dubuque and Waterloo, will only see a slim chance for rain. It’ll be humid once again with dew points in the low to mid 70s. The high temperature will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Tonight: A few storms are possible overnight. It’ll be partly cloudy and humid. The overnight temperature will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Wednesday: The heat and humidity continues with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible throughout the day. The high temperature will be in the mid to upper 80s.
Wednesday Night: Showers and storms will begin to clear out overnight. We’ll drop down to the upper 60s to low 70s Wednesday night.
Thursday: Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies are expected throughout the day. Temperatures will surge back to the low 90’s.
