Tonight: A cold front pushed south through the state this afternoon and it is bringing the humidity level down. It will be more comfortable tonight and allow temperatures to drop into the upper 50s and low 60s by morning. Isolated showers and storms are still possible behind the front.
Saturday: A beautiful day is ahead. We will have plenty of sunshine and a light east breeze. The humidity is low as temperatures warm into the upper 70s to low and mid 80s. Yes, it will be warm in some locations, but it will not be humid. It stays mostly clear overnight with lows in the upper 50s.
Sunday: The wind increases from the south with gusts to 25 mph. This helps make it more humid and the temperatures will be warmer as we reach the upper 80s.
Monday: It is a hot day with highs in the low 90s with a mix of sun and clouds. It will also be humid with gusty south breeze.
Tuesday/Wednesday: These days are expected to be wet. Rain is like with isolated storms possible Tuesday. The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal will make it north to the Midwest as a cold front swings through Iowa. Rain amounts both days could be 1-2”. Temperatures will also be cooler due to the rain with highs in the 70s.
