Man charged in connection to Maple Lanes fire; also charged for Wishbone fire and more

WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) -- Waterloo police have charged a man with arson in connection to the Maple Lanes fire in February.

Kevin Jouse Cruz Soliveras, 29, is charged with First Degree Arson, Second Degree Robbery and Second Degree Burglary.

The fire caused extensive damage to the bowling center, including the pro shop and the restaurant.

Soliveras was already facing charges in connection to the Wishbone Restaurant fire, as well as an attempted armored car robbery in Waterloo, both of which happened in early March.

Live at Maple Lanes Bowling Center in Waterloo. Fire crews responded at 4:40 this morning for a fire. The building has heavy smoke damage from the fire. They are actively working the fire.
