CORALVILLE (KWWL) -- Local and federal law enforcement authorities chased protesters at a police brutality demonstration near the Coral Ridge Mall early Monday morning.

Both Coralville Police and Coralville Fire had all entrances to the mall blocked off but multiple people were gathering in nearby Coral Valley Market, a shopping complex to the south.

KWWL saw at least one person trying to break glass at a business near the UPS Store on 25th Avenue around 12:45 a.m.

Some protesters were also seen throwing projectiles.

The crowd dispersed around 1:30 a.m.

Coralville Police and Fire, as well as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were all on scene.
