Restaurants expanding outdoor dining for guests

(NBC) - Cities across the United States are making it easier for restaurants to expand outdoor dining during the Coronavirus pandemic.

It's happening in Tampa, Florida where local leaders have developed a pilot program that allows restaurants to set up tables outside on certain streets, sidewalks and parking lots.

The program lets restaurants expand service and keep tables six feet apart, all while complying with state-level orders.

Similar proposals are popping up in places like Cincinnati, Boston and California's bay area.
