University of Iowa to have face-to-face classes this fall

IOWA CITY, Iowa (KWWL) — The University of Iowa has stated that in-person classes will start this fall 2020 semester.

“The university is committed to the safety and well-being of its students, faculty, and staff and will implement recommended best practices for limiting exposure to COVID-19 in a campus setting,” the university said in a statement on its website.

As of right now, the University of Iowa is having online learning for the summer. All events scheduled to be held on campus throughout the summer will be postponed, canceled or done virtually through July 31.
