ImOn Communications expands free Wi-Fi service in Cedar Rapids

Cedar Rapids (KWWL) -- People living in Cedar Rapids now have another place they can go to for free Wi-Fi.

ImOn Communications expanded their service to include the area around the parking lot on the east side of Jane Boyd Community House and Hidder Park on 14th Avenue SE.

"ImOn is continuing its work to keep all of our community connected, " said ImOn CEO Patrice Carroll.

"This additional Wi-Fi location will serve yet another area of the community, allowing residents to access the Internet in an area where social distancing is possible."

Users should be able to access these networks outdoors or from their cars to enable social distancing.

ImOn's free community Wi-Fi in Cedar Rapids is also available in the downtown area and at NewBo City Market, McGrath Amphitheatre, the Ladd Library on Williams Boulevard SW.
