Hertz car rental files for Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganization

Facing 19-billion dollars in debt, iconic Hertz rental car company Friday filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, in an effort to remain in business after more than 100 years.

Hertz has some 38,000 employees, and has been critically injured by the lack of people renting cars during the COVID-19 pandemic.
