Pat McGonegle, CEO of the Iowa Pork Producers Association, says Iowa pork producers are currently losing some $40-50 on every pig they send to market.

The pork industry was hoping for a banner year until the arrival of COVID-19.

Things have worsened in recent weeks with the closure of several plants, including the Waterloo Tyson facility. Pat says that closure definitely hurts, but the health of Iowans is the top priority. Here is that interview, as seen on The Steele Report.
