WATERLOO—Timothy Moses has been chosen as the new Athletic Director for East High School beginning with the 2020-2021 school year, pending board approval. Currently a teacher at Central Middle School, this is Moses’ twenty-first year teaching in the district. Moses previously coached in the district for twenty-nine years, twenty-five of those as a track coach.

“I’m excited for the opportunity to continue working with students and athletes. It has always been a passion and dream of mine. To return to East High School, the home of the Trojans, as the Athletic Director is truly a blessing. I look forward to working as hard as I can to continue the legacy of the Orange and Black,” said Moses.

“We are excited to welcome Mr. Tim Moses as the new East High Athletic Director. His passion and connection to East High as well as the Waterloo community really stood out to me, and also to the committee. He will be a great asset to our athletic program as we continue to establish the type of culture that our students deserve,” said Joseph Parker, East High principal.

Moses is a 1982 graduate of East. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Northern Iowa.
