DECORAH, Iowa (KWWL) -- The Raptor Rescue Project has some exciting news to share today thanks to its live cameras.

One of the 50 nests it monitors in Iowa, Minnesota, and Wisconsin has an egg that is getting ready to hatch.

The nest is in Decorah and the egg developed a pip, a hole that is pecked through the shell when the bird is ready to hatch.

The pip was first noticed just before 6 a.m. this morning.
