Playgrounds and skate park close in Dubuque because of COVID-19 concerns

Dubuque (KWWL) -- Playground areas and the Flora Skate Park in Dubuque are now closed as a precaution during the COVID-19 pandemic.

City parks will still be open.

The Leisure Services Department, including offices at Bunker Hill, Bunker Hill Golf Course, Multicultural Family Center, Comiskey Park Building and Allison-Henderson Park Building, is closed until at least April 12.

All Leisure Services activities and programs are canceled until further notice; refunds are being issued.

The department is still providing services electronically, by phone and by mail.
