Storms are beginning to develop near the warm front and will track through eastern Iowa from the mid afternoon into the evening hours. All modes of severe weather will be possible with large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes, some large and long-tracking. The storms will be moving very fast and there will not be much time to prepare if a warning is issued so be sure to stay weather alert for the rest of today.
