Waterloo Warming Center extending operations

WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) — It has been reported that the Waterloo Warming Center has announced that they are extending through the end of April to continue to aid the homeless population during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Social distancing practices are currently in place and cleaning of surfaces happens multiple times per shift. There is a a protocol in place for anyone from the homeless population in need of a COVID-19 quarantine. Those individuals will be connected with the the Black Hawk County General Services coordinator.
