Tonight: The sky remains mostly cloudy. Areas of fog will develop with a light northeast wind. Morning lows fall to the mid-30s north and low 40s south.
Friday: Low pressure develops and moves through Kansas during the day. We will have lots of clouds again. The chance of rain increases from the south to north late in the afternoon. Rain is moves north across the state during the evening and will continue through the night for all of eastern Iowa.
Saturday: The previously mention low pressure will move across Iowa today. Rain is likely and a few storms. We are still looking for a wide range of temperatures from north to south. Northern Iowa will be near 50 while southern Iowa will be in the upper 60s. Wind gusts to 35 mph are expected from the southeast.
Saturday Night: The gusty wind turns and comes from the northwest. The chance of rain continues through the night. The rain ends around sunrise Sunday. Rain amounts will be 0.50-1.00”.
Sunday: The gusty northwest wind will gradually diminish toward the evening. This is when the clouds clear as well. Otherwise clouds linger through most of the day. Highs will be in the low 50s.
