7 Day Forecast - PM

Tonight: A cold front pushes across eastern Iowa this evening with a few showers. Once the front passes, the wind turns to the north at 5-10 mph. The sky remains cloudy with lows in the mid and upper 30s.

Thursday: A weak area of low pressure will move across northern Missouri during the day. Isolated light showers are possible. Most of the day is dry. Temperatures warm into the upper 40s north and low 50s south. The wind turns to the northeast at 10-15 mph.

Thursday Night:  Not much change. Mostly cloudy conditions continue with a light northeast wind. Temperatures are back down into the mid and upper 30s.

Friday: An area of low pressure develops in western Kansas during the day. A few light showers are possible in eastern Iowa otherwise another cloudy day. The wind is light from east around 5-10 mph. Rain becomes more likely Friday night and continues into Saturday.

Saturday: The low is forecast to track across Iowa during the day. There will be a wide range of temperatures north to south across the front. Northern Iowa will be near 50 while southern Iowa could approach 70. Placement of the front by 10-20 miles will have a big impact on the weather. A few storms are possible if we see any sunshine across southern Iowa.
