Black Hawk County COVID-19 Childcare Response Team set up for those needing childcare while still working

BLACK HAWK COUNTY, Iowa (KWWL) - During the coronavirus outbreak, many people are still reporting to work because what they do is essential to every day living. The Black Hawk County COVID-19 Childcare Response Team has been established to help those people with childcare needs.

The Assessment of Childcare Need form states:

ATTENTION: Essential personnel supporting the health and safety of our community during COVID-19 who have current, emerging or potential childcare needs.

Schools, community organizations, and employers are mobilizing to support ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL, which includes hospital staff, healthcare providers, direct care staff (i.e. nursing homes, etc), government personnel essential to infrastructure (public safety, public health, child protection services, etc), emergency responders, and employees in food supply (grocery, restaurant, etc).

If you know someone who is considered essential and has childcare needs, please share this important survey with them.
