Night of Fun and Fellowship with the Main Street Social Club set for February 23.

Good food, fun, fellowship and prizes will highlight the next edition of the Main Street Social Club of Cedar Falls in its ongoing community-improvement efforts

Main Street Social Club President, Jeff Gann, says the public is invited to a John Freese Ham Steak Dinner event, set for February 23.

The Club will start serving dinner at 5:30 p.m. It's a first come-first served event, and the full dinner costs only $10.00. The event will also include Raffle Prizes and a 50/50 drawing.

As always, the location for the February 23 night of fellowship and fun, will be the Cedar Falls AMVETS Post 49 building, located at 1938 Irving, in Cedar Falls.

Post 49 plays host of all of the Club's major events, which are only held a few times throughout the year, usually serving as fundraisers for local non-profit organizations.

The Main Street Social Club is approaching $100,000 in donations awarded to local non-profits.

Started just a few year ago by a handful of local residents, as a way to give back, the mission of the Main Street Social Club is 'To foster fellowship and goodwill, to conduct social activities for the members, their families and the community, and to encourage and support worthwhile activities of benefit to the community.'

The February 23 dinner menu will include Ham Steak, Scalloped potatoes, green beans, dinner roll, and cheese cake. All for just $10.00
