No injuries but extensive damage reported in Dubuque house fire

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL) - A Dubuque home has been damaged by a fire. According to our coverage partner, Dubuque in Pursuit, the fire was reported at 545 Napier St. about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Dubuque Fire Department said in a news release about 3:15 p.m. that the residents of the home were not inside when they arrived on the scene and that the fire was now contained in the attic.

Several cars were also reported on fire, but no injuries have been reported.  

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

NAPIER STREET FIRE

Dubuque Fire Units responded to 535 Napier Street, around 1:30 pm this afternoon for a report of a structure fire. The residence of the home managed to get out of there home with no injuries. There was severe damage to the home and no cause of the fire has been determined yet. We did capture some photos that are in the comment box below.⬇
