Dubuque Police raise funds for Shop with a Cop

DUBUQUE, Iowa (KWWL) - Beginning this week, Key Services will seek donations on behalf of he Dubuque Police Department to raise money for "Shop With A Cop".

According to a press release, last year, the Dubuque Police Protective Association raised $40,000 which allowed officers to take a hundred children back to school shopping. They were also able to purchase more-than 100 winter coats, snow pants and gloves.

The ninth annual "Shop With a Cop" will happen at the Target on Dodge Street. The fundraiser will continue until the end of July.

Cash donations are accepted. Any check donations should be made out to the Dubuque Police Protective Association.
