IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- MacKenzie Meyer's double overtime heroics got the job done as Iowa took down No. 12 Indiana 91-85 for their 30th straight win inside of Carver Hawkeye Arena.
Meyer drained a go-ahead three-pointer to give Iowa an 83-80 lead in the second overtime. Her bucket moments later on a jump stop in the lane secured Iowa's fourth Big Ten win of the season.
Meyer finished the game with 17 points, while point guard Kathleen Doyle put together another big game with 31. Doyle had a chance to end the game in regulation when she drove the lane and scored to tie the game at 74 with five seconds remaining. Doyle was fouled on the play, but missed the ensuing free throw as the Hawks and Hoosiers went to the first of two overtimes.
