BREAKING: One person has been arrested in a Cedar Falls shooting that took place in December of 2019.

Keyon Roby, 18, is charged with Conspiracy to Commit Forcible Felony.

Police were called to the 100 block of Main Street for a report of a shooting on December 4.

Witnesses told police three men entered the apartment, with one person holding a handgun. That person has been identified as Roby.

Roby allegedly pistol whipped one of the witnesses.

Witnesses said that's when Grant Saul, 24, pulled out his own handgun.

Roby allegedly fired three rounds, hitting and killing Saul.

Witnesses said the three men then ran from the apartment.

Surveillance video captured a suspect's vehicle arriving at the apartment ahead of the shooting, and three men wearing hoodies heading towards the apartment.

Investigators learned Roby had been at the apartment earlier in the day, and was identified in a photo lineup as one of the men who entered the apartment with the handgun, before allegedly shooting Saul.

Investigators spoke with several witness who admitted to being involved in the shooting.

Both witnesses identified Roby as the man who entered the apartment and shot Saul.

Witnesses said the original intent of going into the apartment involved marijuana.
