WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) -- Former UNI wrestling coach Chuck Patten will be inducted into the Battle of Waterloo Hall of Fame tonight at the NWHOF Dan Gable Museum.
The reception for the event will begin at 5:00 p.m. and induction will start at 6 p.m. A social gathering will be held at Single Speed after the ceremony.
Coach Patten was the head coach for UNI Wrestling for 18 years, compiling a record of 217-87-8 and winning two Division II NCAA team titles.
Along the way, he produced 16 national champions and 58 wrestlers who won All-American honors.
Coach Patten was inducted into the Glen Brand Wrestling Hall of Fame of Iowa in 2008.
