Another arctic front has passed and temperatures will be cooling down this weekend. Heading into today, winds will be breezy from the northwest, with gusts up to 30 mph.
This will keep our afternoon highs in the teens to upper 20's (warmest air south and east). Skies will stay mostly cloudy with a few peeks of sunshine this afternoon.
We drop all the way down to the low to upper single digits with partly cloudy skies tonight.
While winds die down heading into tomorrow, highs remain in the mid teens to mid 20's for Sunday.
Skies will be mostly cloudy and there will be a chance for light afternoon snow, mainly south.
Snow chances increase Sunday night with up to 2" possible in our southern counties. North of highway 30, snow totals will really drop off.
By Monday the snow tapers and temperatures will be fairly mild.
Tuesday through Thursday looks partly cloudy with breezy winds Tuesday and a strong southerly wind on Thursday. This will warm us back up to the mid 30's by the end of the week.
