UPDATE 12/16: Jordan Bohannon's shoe raffle has raised over $20,000 for the UI Children's Hospital in just two days!
IOWA CITY (KWWL) -- Jordan Bohannon's shoes are back in Iowa City and now making money for a good cause. The Iowa senior guard has chosen to raffle off the infamous pair and has already raised more than $10,000 in one day.
Bohannon removed the shoes following Iowa's win over Iowa State in Ames on Thursday night. He used a sharpie to write "To ISU, Thanks for the mems. Jordan Bohannon" on the pair and left them on the Hilton Coliseum floor.
Tickets for the shoe raffle cost $10 each and can be purchased through Bohannon's venmo account: @JboISUMemzShoes. All proceeds benefit the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital.
