Snow overnight has dropped a dusting to 2" across portions of eastern Iowa.
We will have plenty of sunshine throughout the day. High temperatures will be in the teens north, to 20s south.
Tonight we will have an increase in clouds cover ahead of our next quick-moving area of low pressure. Temperatures will fall early this evening, before rising overnight.
The best chance of snow will be across the northern half of the viewing area Thursday morning.
A trace to 1" of snow will be possible. The highest amounts will be near the Iowa/Minnesota state line.
Friday will be cloudy, but dry. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
A cold front tracks through Saturday bringing the potential of light snow and windy conditions. Temperatures will fall throughout the day Saturday.
There is another chance of snow early next week.
