MADISON, Wisconsin (KWWL) – The President and CEO of a Dubuque-based credit union has been inducted into the Credit Union Executives Society Hall of Fame.
Joe Hearn, CEO and president of Dupaco Community Credit Union, was inducted into the CUES Hall of Fame.
Hearn has been with Dupaco since 1986 when he started as a marketing director. He was later promoted to Executive Vice President. In 2008, he was named CEO. He would later add the title of President in 2012.
Hearn was chosen by the CUES Board of Directors for his contributions to the profession and credit union industry. He also serves on the board of directors and is a past chairman.
Dupaco Community Credit Union was formed in 1948 by 10 Dubuque Packing Company employees. The credit union has more than 124,000 members with assets of more than $1.8 billion.
