The man acquitted of killing Trayvon Martin is suing his family

(NBC)--The accused killer of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin has filed a lawsuit against his family.

George Zimmerman is seeking 100 million dollars in damages from several people, including Martin's parents.

Zimmerman, who was a neighborhood watch coordinator shot and killed Martin in 2012, in a Florida condo community. Martin was visiting his father at the time.

In the lawsuit claims the defendants of malicious prosecution and defamation.
