It's going to be another nice December day across eastern Iowa. Temperatures will be just a touch warmer than yesterday, with highs reaching the upper 30s to lower 40s. We will start the day with some clouds, but eventually it becomes mostly sunny.
The wind will be a little stronger than yesterday, sustained 5-15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph at times. That will make it feel a little cooler.
Tonight will be mostly clear with low temperatures in the middle 20s to near 30° -- roughly 10° above normal.
Wednesday will be mostly sunny ahead of a mostly cloudy sky on Thursday. Late Thursday into Friday a cold front moves through. There's not going to be much moisture with it, so we are expected to stay dry.
That leads us to cooler temperatures for Friday, ahead of a decent weekend with temperatures in the 40s.
Our next cold front moves in net Monday, bringing colder temperatures and a slight chance of precipitation.
