Morning news co-anchor

KWWL, the NBC affiliate serving eastern Iowa is seeking an experienced, accomplished anchor to complement our existing morning/noon team.

If you’re passionate about news, and about the issues that affect our Iowa viewers and have significant TV reporting and anchoring experience, we want to talk to you.

KWWL produces 30 hours of local news each week, including our 2.5-hour morning show and our hour-long noon newscast. We’re looking for a serious journalist who is as comfortable in a live ad-lib situation as they are reading a prompter. You’ll help write and produce our morning and noon shows, conduct live newsmaker interviews, connect with the audience via online and social media, and represent the station at community events.

The Waterloo-Cedar Rapids-Dubuque-Iowa City market is a great place to live with numerous colleges and universities, good quality of life, plenty of places for recreation and close to Minneapolis, Chicago and Des Moines.

KWWL is proud to be a Quincy station. Learn why our family-owned broadcast group has a reputation as one of the best media companies to work for at: www.quincymediacareers.com.
