TRACKING: Pretty nice Saturday, cold and snowy by Sunday

We actually have quite a gorgeous day to kick off the weekend. Skies will start off mostly sunny before clouds increase in the afternoon. There will be a chance for a brief evening shower in the extreme northern portion of the viewing area.

Temperatures will climb to the 40’s and 50’s today with a subtle west wind.

Enjoy it because the cold front will move through tonight bringing mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies and lowering our temps to the upper 20’s.

By Sunday, skies will be cloudy with highs only in the low 30’s to low 40’s.

There will also be a chance for light snow in the afternoon continuing into the overnight hours.

Minor accumulations are possible but shouldn’t exceed much more than an inch.

Highs in the low 20’s arrive for Veteran’s Day and Tuesday with lows in the single digits in between. Blustery winds on Monday will significantly lower the wind chills. Those cold temperatures will come with plenty of sunshine.

Temperatures warm for the rest of the week with lots of sunshine after a brief snow chance on Wednesday.
