Snowfall Totals November 5th-6th

A clipper system moved through overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, bringing snow to portions of eastern Iowa. The majority of us stayed dry, with the accumulating snow setting up in our far northern counties. Click here for an updated snowmap from the Iowa State University Environmental Mesonet.

One of the areas that received the accumulating snow was Decorah. This was from our coverage on Today in Iowa Wednesday morning, where photojournalist Jim Averill set up shop. It looks like a winter wonderland; not November 6th.
