(CNN)– Students at the University of Wisconsin will soon be able to get dining hall food delivered by robots. The school’s housing, dining and culinary services department is launching the service.
The delivery will cost about two dollars per order. Students will be able to pay through their student meal card. They’ll order what they want from an app and drop a pin where they want it delivered.
The director of the department says, the service is about keeping up with the times.
Starship Technologies operates robot deliveries around the world. The company says, its robots have made more than 150,000 deliveries.
