Cedar Falls sweeps Marshalltown for fifth straight state trip

CEDAR FALLS (KWWL) — Cedar Falls didn’t even need an hour. The top ranked Tigers rolled past Marshalltown in 58 minutes, winning in straight sets to punch their ticket to the state volleyball tournament for the fifth straight year. The Tigers won by set scores of 25-9, 25-19, 25-7.

Cedar Falls moved to 41-1 on the season with no losses against competition in the state of Iowa.

Akacia Brown led the Tigers with 12 kills. Alayna Yates added seven more in the win.
