Williamsburg ends Waterloo Columbus’ season 25-8

WILLIAMSBURG(KWWL)–Seniors like Kaden Wetjen honored on a cold and muddy night in Williamsburg as the Sailors cruise into town.
Raiders fed Wetjen early and often but their first score comes through the air…
Columbus not ready for the pass at all and Levi Weldon finds a wide open Austin Burns.
Point after was no good but still Williamsburg goes on top 6-0.
Sailors looking for something to get psyched about and that’s Alex Feldman’s department.
Picking off the raiders and setting up Columbus.
They’re unable to do anything with the ball once they get it, though, throwing into triple-coverage on third down.
Wetjen shedding tacklers on a Raiders drive as the first half winds down, but the turf monster gets him and he can’t believe it.
He’d get to finish the drive with a short TD, though, putting Williamsburg ahead 13-0…
.And they keep pushing in the second half, able to advance to the next round.
Still a great season foor Waterloo Columbus.
After the game, though,
…STILL A GREAT SEASON FOR WATERLOO COLUMBUS, THOUGH.
BUT AFTER THE GAME, COACH RITCHIE SAID HIS TEAM IS HITTING ITS STRIDE AT THE RIGHT TIME.
