Hawks’ Jordan Boahnnon making progress from hip surgery

IOWA CITY(KWWL)–The Iowa Hawkeye men tip off the regular season in nine days against Southern Illinois Edwardsville at Carver Hawkeye Arena.

The Hawks have been working on their games especially at the defensive end–

Three year starting point guard Jordan Bohannon has been working hard—head coach Fran McCaffrey gave an update on his status..

“Jordan is trying he is working hard, he is not there he knows that I have really been proud of him because he has worked hard on his body he is out there playing everyday he is trying to get better he frustrated because he is not where he wants to be that;s how competitive he is that is why we love him so we will see.”

Bohannon could see some playing time in the Hawks’ exhibition Monday night against Wilson College.
