Iowa tops UNI 6-1 in in-state soccer battle

IOWA CITY (KWWL) — The Iowa women’s soccer team scored four first half goals as the Hawkeyes rolled past UNI 6-1.

Six different Hawkeyes — Hannah Drkulec, Natalie Winters, Skylar Alward, Gianna Gourley, Devin Burns, and Samantha Tawharu — notched goals in the Iowa win. UNI’s  Jordyn Rolli picked up the Panthers lone goal to make the score 2-1 in the early going.

The win moved Iowa to 2-0 on the season, the Panthers fell to 1-1.
