IOWA CITY, Iowa (KWWL)— Authorities confirm that 25-year-old Cierra Lewis is in custody in relation to the officer-involved shooting Monday night.
Lewis is charged with assault with a weapon and willful injury/causing serious injury.

UPDATE: Cierra Lewis was in the Johnson County Courthouse this morning around 8:30 a.m. for a first appearance.
Lewis is being held on a $75,000 cash surety bond.
Lewis is facing two felony charges for assault with a weapon and willful injury, causing serious injury. Bail was set for $50,000 for count one and $25,000 for count two.
UPDATE: The Iowa DCI says the two officers involved in the shooting incident were officer Michael Clark and Trai Bunch.
Both Clark and Bunch were interviewed by Special Agents. Officer Clark shot his weapon, while Officer Bunch arrived on the scene after the incident and assisted in placing Lewis under arrest.
Officer Clark has been placed on paid administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation, per departmental policy.
The investigation is still ongoing.
