Dog that survived fire will be used for therapy

(NBC)–A dog that was badly burned in a house fire is getting a new ‘leash’ on life.  Taka survived a house fire in October and was badly injured, but he survived.  Now, that he’s recovered, Taka will become a therapy dog.

He will work in a burn center.  His owner and trainer say, they are excited that he’ll get a chance to help other people with similar story.

The next step for Taka, is to become certified as a Canine Good Citizen.  Then, he’ll start his training for therapy dog status.
