Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for the entire state of Iowa through Saturday evening.
Tonight is forecast to stay dry.
Many of us stay dry Saturday, however, a cold front will begin to track into the state by afternoon. This will provide a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The better chance comes during the evening and overnight hours.
It’s going to be quite unstable, so strong to severe storms are possible with damaging wind and heavy rainfall. Be weather aware Saturday night.
