A few storms may track through tonight, but the heat and humidity will be the main story for the next week.
Dewpoints will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s for most of the week.
With highs aiming for the upper 80s/low 90s, heat indices will be around 100 most afternoons.
Use caution this week as you can overheat quickly. Click here for more tips on heat awareness.
A few showers and thunderstorms may pop up in the afternoon to evening any day due to the heat of the day, but most will stay dry this week.
The remnants of Tropical Storm Barry will track through the middle of the nation before turning right somewhere around the Ohio River Valley. This may affect our weather by bringing in more moisture than expected for storms that will track through anyway on Wednesday into Thursday over our viewing area. Keep an eye on tropical systems by going to National Hurricane Center here.
