Zach Johnson Struggles in first round of John Deere Classic
Three days after his Foundation Classic in Cedar Rapids, Zach Johnson struggled in the first round of the John Deere Classic in nearby Silvis, Illinois.
Johnson shot a first round score of 1 over par 72 to finish in a tie for 123rd place after the first round. It is the first time in eleven years and 42 straight rounds that Johnson had shot over par at the John Deere Classic.
Johnson tees off Friday at 7:40 am for the 2nd round.
