Cedar Valley Dancing with the Stars raises $30,000 to keep kids safe

CEDAR VALLEY, Iowa – The 2nd Annual Cedar Valley Dancing With the Stars raised $40,000 for child abuse prevention programming.

A press release says, “VGM CEO Mike Mallaro and his professional dance partner, Shelby Graveman, took home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy – winning the entire event with their performance. State Representative Timi Brown-Powers and J’Kalein Madison won the People’s Choice award.”

Executive Director for the Family & Children’s Council, Amanda Goodman, says in the release,““Every single person on that stage invested so much time to prepare for this event. And they did that because they share the same beliefs we have at FCC, that every child should be happy, healthy and safe.”
