WATERLOO, Iowa (KWWL) – Organizers with the HusomeStrong Foundation are planning the 2nd annual “Live Lucky” Golf Tournament and Adaptive Golf Clinic, planned for Friday, August 16 at Irv Warren Golf Course in Waterloo.
The free clinic is open to anyone with any type of disability who is interested in learning how to adapt to the game of golf. Clinic sessions are held at 9, 10 and 11 a.m.
The tournament will be in the afternoon. Registration and lunch begin at noon, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.

Proceeds will be used to bring adaptive golf programs and equipment to the public golf courses in the Cedar Valley, according to Husome.
MISSION: The HusomeStrong Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization established to assist people who have experienced the loss of a limb and are seeking assistance to realize their full potential, and live their lives to the fullest after amputation.
