DETROIT (KWWL) — Nathan Lashley led wire to wire. The 36 year old shot 25 under par to capture his first career PGA Tour win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic.
Lashley, a two-time champion of the Waterloo Open picked up a major payday for the effort earning $1.3 million for the win. At one point he went 38 straight holes without a bogey. He defeated Doc Redman by six strokes to win the tournament.
With the win Lashley earned a spot in all four of golf majors and now holds a PGA Tour exemption through the 2021 season.
