Job Foundation Mentoring Program, as seen on The Steele Report

The Job Foundation came about as a result of a family tragedy.

Mike and Jennifer Brost created the Job Foundation 12 years ago in honor of their stillborn son, Job.

Today, the Cedar Valley financial stewardship mentoring program is teaching key financial life lessons to local students. Students can enter into the program in elementary school and stay with it until they graduate from high school.

It’s a Certified Mentoring Program which pairs each child with a dedicated mentoring tutor, who helps guide them through the Job Foundation program, as they learn valuable financial and leadership lessons.

Participants also earn money based on their school grades, attendance and behavior at school.

Four Job Foundation representatives stopped by the KWWL studio recently to talk about their unique and rewarding experiences. Here is that segment, as seen on The Steele Report.
